Terms and Conditions
Last updated: May 19, 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MapVid, including our website, prompt-to-map-video generation tools, browser-based editing workflow, preview experience, export services, and related software features. By using MapVid, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
MapVid is an independent software product. We may use third-party infrastructure, AI, media, rendering, and payment providers to operate the service, but MapVid is not affiliated with or endorsed by those model or infrastructure providers unless we explicitly state otherwise.
If you have questions about these Terms, contact support@mapvid.app.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You may use MapVid only if you can form a binding contract with us and only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use MapVid.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and credentials.
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account or purchasing a plan.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
2. The Service
MapVid provides an online service for generating, editing, previewing, and exporting map-based video content from natural-language prompts and related inputs.
We may add, change, suspend, or remove features, limits, integrations, or technical requirements at any time. We do not guarantee that every prompt, project, generation, or export will succeed.
3. Plans, Billing, and Subscription Management
MapVid may offer free and paid plans, including recurring subscriptions and usage-limited features such as generation or export quotas.
By purchasing or subscribing, you agree that:
- you will pay the fees and applicable taxes for the plan you select
- you will provide accurate billing information and keep it current
- if your plan renews automatically, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel
- we may change pricing, plan structure, feature limits, or billing mechanics prospectively
If you have an active subscription, you must be able to cancel it directly from the product. You can cancel future renewals through your billing settings and the linked customer portal when available, or by contacting support@mapvid.app before your next renewal date.
Cancellation stops future renewals only. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or where we expressly agree otherwise.
4. Refunds and Customer Support
If you have a billing issue or want to request a refund, contact support@mapvid.app.
- We aim to respond to customer support and refund requests within 3 business days.
- If we do not respond within that timeframe, our payment provider may resolve the request directly, including by issuing a refund where appropriate.
- Unless required by law or stated otherwise for a specific offer, subscription fees are non-refundable, partial billing periods are not prorated, and unused time in a billing cycle does not create an automatic refund right.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of the prompts, project inputs, uploaded assets, and video content you create in MapVid ("User Content").
You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content and your use of MapVid do not infringe the rights of others or violate applicable law.
You grant MapVid a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, moderate, render, and display your User Content solely as needed to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the service for you, including generating previews, revisions, and exports.
This license ends when your User Content is deleted from our systems, except to the extent retention is required for legal, billing, security, backup, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.
We distinguish between:
User Content: prompts, uploads, media, project data, revisions, and creative outputs associated with your accountUsage Data: aggregated or operational information about feature usage, job status, logs, system metrics, and errors
We will not use your User Content for model training, dataset creation, or unrelated model improvement without your explicit prior consent.
6. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Content
You may not use MapVid to:
- violate any law or regulation
- infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights
- upload malware, harmful code, or unauthorized automation

7. Safety, Moderation, and Enforcement
We may review, screen, block, refuse, remove, or disable prompts, uploads, projects, generations, or accounts that violate these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, applicable law, or safety and integrity requirements.
Generation and export availability may depend on system load, moderation or security checks, geographic availability, third-party provider policies, and technical constraints.
We may suspend, throttle, or terminate abusive, excessive, risky, or non-compliant usage to protect the platform and other users.
8. Third-Party Services
MapVid may rely on third-party services such as payment processors, merchant-of-record providers, authentication providers, hosting vendors, storage vendors, AI or media providers, moderation services, analytics tools, and rendering infrastructure.
We are not responsible for failures, outages, policy changes, or data handling practices of third-party services except as required by law.
9. Intellectual Property
MapVid and its software, product design, site content, branding, code, interfaces, and non-user materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law.

10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to MapVid if you violate these Terms, create risk for the platform or other users, fail to pay applicable fees, or if suspension or termination is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.
You may stop using the service at any time and may cancel your account or subscription through available account settings or by contacting us.
Upon termination:
- your right to use MapVid ends
- future subscription renewals will stop once cancellation takes effect
- we may delete or disable access to your User Content, subject to legal, billing, security, backup, and operational retention needs
